The area of our badminton hall is more than 15,000 square-feet. We are well-lit with generous walking space in between each court. We provide well-maintained gender-separated bathrooms, showers and changing rooms within and outside the hall. You can take a break and relax with in-house music, and rehydrate from our water dispenser and vending machine.

Located at the heart of Geylang, Singapore Badminton Hall at SIMS (SBH @ SIMS) hosts 14 Olympic-standard courts. The hall is divided into 2 areas, Premier Hall (6 courts) and Deluxe Hall (8 courts). Both hall uses rubber court mats of highest quality so that players may enjoy their game. As such, our facility is often served as a sporting venue for hosting badminton trainings, as well as badminton competitions.

As part of our vision to engage the community, we have opened up our badminton courts to the general public. We hope that this will increase public awareness and integration with our MDW community. Our courts’ playing surface is a 5mm rubber mat which provides great traction and subtle bounce for players.
The foundation beneath is made up of a 5-layers shock absorptive wood flooring specially designed for impact-dampening and responsiveness. Combined, these provide the safest and best playing surface for players of all skill levels!

Sengkang Sport Hall is a public sport hall managed by Sport Singapore. Sengkang Sport Centre, formerly known as Sengkang Sport and Recreation Centre, is co-located with the People’s Association Anchorvale Community Club, and offers one of the two sheltered pool managed by Sport Singapore. Sengkang has established itself as a world class venue for hockey, with significant facility upgrades being undertaken for the inaugural Youth Olympic Games (2010).
