Since 2000, The Book Cafe has been a beloved fixture at the corner of Mohd Sultan and Martin Roads. Tucked away in the Robertson Quay community, they provide a cozy second-living room atmosphere where you can relax, browse books, enjoy drinks, and savor comforting food. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, they’ve got you covered with delicious fare every day. They  also offer a selection of books for patrons to enjoy while they dine.

A little on the pricier side (Starbucks range) but ambience and decor is super conducive for reading and using one’s laptop. Perfect for rainy afternoons or chilling between peak meal hours.

I was here for a friend's book launch, and was immediately captivated by the smell of freshly printed books and coffee. What a combination! They have a decent menu and excellent service. The perfect hole up spot for bookworms and cafe lovers. (Even better if you are both!)

Lovely place to chill and work. There are comfortable seating indoors for reading. There are plenty of power plugs everywhere. Food is nice too. Really enjoyed the fish & chips, even if i thought the portion was kinda small for the price. The big breakfast was also good. Coffee is Decent , with a sprinkling of choc powder. Didn't enjoy the cookies though. Pretty relaxing on a Sunday morning, many families

Edward Tower

Absolutely chill and lovely spot for a sip of freshly-brewed coffee while reading something written by local indie authors. The iconic and colorful book wall is incredibly beautiful and instagrammable. However, the overall location of this coffee bookshop seems way too far away from central district and it’s not really within walking distance. It took me 20-25 minutes to walk to the nearest MRT station so it’d be much appreciated if you drove there. There’s a large parking lot right next to it, though, so please just drive here for a nice drink and a good book.

Lovely and quiet cafe. Spent an afternoon here and enjoyed having a nice scenery outside while surrounded by books.

An absolutely wonderful and cosy little place. Downstairs is more cafe like seating, and upstairs is a very chilled sofa and cushion area. They have free books you can borrow from the bookshelves as you relax upstairs. Drinks are good, worth the premium. I am very excited to return.

Lovely establishment with cozy, quiet, comfortable upper floor for you to enjoy a drink (I love the Moon Milk) while reading a book. Or working on your laptop (they've got outlets). Haven't bought any books here yet, but the selection is interesting and not too large, which is great for me because it's easier to pick one.
