Knowing the concept of the restaurant and being a first time visitor to the restaurant, I had anticipated it to be comparable to some of the restaurants in Little India. However, this place is truly a delight for vegetarian Indians in Singapore. Not just the quality of food and variety offered on the buffet, the ambience and hygiene is surely upto the mark. Although some other reviews mentioned rude staff, fortunately we did not encounter any such occurring. We were a group of 5 who went for dinner on a Saturday and had made a reservation. Eat as much as you can, pay as much(as a courtesy, not as less as you can) as you can.
Indian vegetarian restaurant founded in Singapore in 1986. The food is cooked and served by volunteers. Nearest MRT station: Clarke Quay (Exit B) or Chinatown (Exit E). Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-3:00pm, Tue-Sun 6:00pm-10:00pm. If you are in Chinatown or Clarke and finding a Indian restaurant you can visit this place and have a buffet food in a South Indian style . Menu is a mix from Indian culture.

Each dish is a masterpiece, beautifully crafted with fresh, flavorful ingredients that redefine vegetarian cuisine. The creative menu offers a delightful fusion of tastes and textures, leaving me astonished with every bite. The attention to detail in presentation is exquisite, elevating the dining experience. Joie isn't just a restaurant; it's a celebration of vegetarian gastronomy, and I can't wait to return for more culinary delights!
I had a fantastic experience at Joie Vegetarian Restaurant! The Monkey Head Mushroom Steak was a true culinary delight. The flavors were exquisite, and it's clear that the chefs put a lot of thought and care into their dishes. What impressed me the most was the affordability of the 5-course meal. It's not often you find such a high-quality dining experience at such a reasonable price. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance was lovely. I can't wait to return for another delicious meal!
My first time trying vegetarian fine dining, the foods were surprisingly good! The waitress , Kelly, was very professional, she explained the dishes to us and also show us the right way to enjoy the dishes. The main dishes , mushroom steak and risotto were very impressed too. I will definitely come back again.
I went in not expecting much because it was “meatless” but the food was really good! Brought my boyfriend here for an occasion and the courses were served promptly with really good palettes. The staff were also so wonderful. Def recommend to anyone whod like to try smt new and enjoy a nice classy atmosphere

My first on an Indonesian take of vegetarian fare, as strongly insisted by the friend as a counter-proposal to my initial spot for vegetarian food. Small and cozy restaurant along the ground floor close to the entrance. Great spread of Indonesian food in vegetarian version if you are game for it.Place is cooling, sheltered, and very accessible from the MRT.
I had a wonderful experience at Warong Ijo!This new outlet is located conveniently near the MRT making it more accessible. The vegetarian dishes they offer are simply amazing – full of flavor and beautifully presented. The friendly staff made my visit even more enjoyable. It's not often you find a place that caters so well to vegetarians while providing top-notch service. I highly recommend trying their delicious dishes and soaking in the welcoming atmosphere.
Very happy to come across this vegetarian restaurant! All the dishes we had were full of flavors yet not too salty. I particularly like Orh Luak (oyster mushroom omelette), Lumpiah Goreng (spring rolls), and stir fried spinach.Rendang lion mane mushroom was quite spicy and oily.Saturday dinner was very busy. A very lively place.Vegetarian options: It is a vegetarian restaurant

100% vegetarian restaurant with fantastic food. We had three dishes and all of them were perfect in taste and variation. Also the garlic naan was one of the best we ever had. Very nice and friendly service. The restaurant also had a very nice atmosphere which is not so easy to find in Little India. Absolutely recommendable!
The best vegetarian chicken we have ever eaten - the sizzling chicken is a must if you visit this restaurant! Biryani, Daals and Masala curries also very tasty. Would recommend to anybody visiting Singapore wanting some vegetarian food. Staff all very friendly with a special mention to Dave. My only criticism is the football team that he supports (Man U)!
I first visited around 2019 when the food was already impressive and at great prices. Coming back years later in 2023, I’m pleasantly surprised to see that the decor and the ambience has improved and amazingly, so has the food and service. Dave was a wonderful host and the laksa goreng I had was absolutely scrumptious - I ate it all despite not having been particularly hungry in the first place. I’ll definitely come by again if I’m in the area!
My husband and I are regular customers at Tulasi. This is a wonderful Indian vegetarian restaurant that can even cater to those who don't take garlic and onion which is a big plus for us. Their menu is extensive, covering Indian, local, western and Chinese cuisine and thus far, all the dishes that we have tasted are simply divine. The ambience and the service there are also sublime. Truly a gem for all.
Simply delicious food. Happened to pass by this place and realised they reopened again. The portions were just nice, not too huge. They served free papadam. Service was good and prompt. Place is clean with pleasant ambience. We will definitely visit again. Would like to try their vast variety of other dishes.

I got invited for lunch by work friends to this wonderful vegetarian restaurant. Being a vegetarian, I was delighted to see the vast options in the menu. Each dish we ordered was unique and with distinct aroma and taste. I particularly recommend signature olive rice, Garden Medley, Tempeh Long Beans with Olive to name a few. A very satisfying experience and look forward to next visit.
I had foreign vegetarian friends in town and I originally struggled to find a vegetarian restaurant that offered great food with local flavours, but Whole Earth meets that sweet spot well. Food is well portioned and tasty while staying healthy and nutritious. Honestly, the fact that it’s not meat doesn’t even matter once you taste the food. Overall, solid place to check out in Singapore.
Very decent vegetarian options located at Tanjong Pagar - just 3 mins walk from the MRT. Some call outs are the Olive Fried Rice, Penang Rendang, and Yam Ring. Service was really quick and staff were all attentive. Prices are on the higher end but you pay for good quality dishes after all. Place is spacious and well air-conditioned. Pretty popular location so do book in advance if you are planning to visit!

Loved this place! So much to choose from. I ordered 8 dishes because I wanted everything. The sweet & sour chicken (my favourite), the spicy tofu (delicious), the olive rice (yum), the bao buns (yum) & a bunch of other stuff. The staff were so lovely & the vibe was fantastic. Great meal, great company (love of my life) & chilled atmosphere. Fabulous!
Best vegan food ever in Singapore. The staff is friendly and their hospitality is great. The food is mind blowing. They really know how to cook. The flavors and spices used were top notch. They also have vegan packaged food like kimchi and which I will finally get to have since the other places only have the one made is fish sauce.

Vegetarian food - variety significantly less than the usual Chinese vegetarian zhi char such as D life. Quality and taste also not amazing.Service is really slow so please factor in some waiting time even with a less than half filled resturant. Food also served in staggered timing. Waitress really trying their best though.
My family had a great time dining in on a Saturday evening, no crowd at all. Ordered western dishes only. Overall, food was scrumptious and tasty. My picky eater daughter loved the Trio mushroom soup. Personal preference was the Vietnamese summer rolls with tangy lemongrass chili sauce. Friendly servers with efficient service. Will return to try out their local dishes menu.
Very easy to find. Took the lift up from the carpark and it was right in view.Adorable figurines hidden behind the ledge of each table. It was pretty empty on a weekday so I gathered a few of them to accompany my meal. Their ingredients were all very fresh (loved the heirloom carrots and monkey head mushroom satay)
Had the tempeh salad (good) , unagi (eggplant) risotto (not as good as before but still tasty), brioche burger (thought it was going to be mushroom but turned out to be some sort of plant meat, possibly impossible. Service was friendly and i love that they serve alcohol (hard to find with vegetarian places)
