Long queue at 7.45am. beef rendang very good. Rice coconut fragrant. Fish fillet not nice. Chilli ok. Begedil soso. Chicken wing not nice.Located at 2nd level, hawker centre

Shaeen Marican

This is pretty much my go-to place for nasi lemak most weekends! There’s usually a queue but it’s cleared pretty quickly. Very generous with their sambal & the chicken wing is da bomb! I’ve tried their Lontong & Mee Rebus as well - Shiok! Don’t forget to add a begedil (potato patty)👌Getting hungry just writing this now 😋

Alvin Wj

Nasi Lemak is sambal is 😍. Loving it. But if the rice could have strong coconut aroma, would be awesome. Also tried their mee siam too, it’s nice.

Yan P

I am glad Chai Chee Nasi Lemak is still offering value meals at $3. Stall assistants are friendly and patient. I recommend Nasi Lemak, Mee Rebus and Otah.

Porridge is still delicious even after takeaway.. Their fish porridge is my all time favourite, pork porridge is really good too.Queue can get a little long but they serve rather quickly, about 20-30min wait.

E

1 of the best porridge I've tried . The serving is quite a lot. Big chunks of liver in the porridge with fried shallots and spring onions. The porridge is tasty and smooth. Don't mind coming back again to try the other options . It's crowded during lunch time but the shop assistant will help you find seats

Putri Iin Alimsijah

Best porridge in town! Be prepared to queue for at least 15 mins and then wait about 30 minutes for your piping hot bowl of creamy goodness chockful of ingredients! Go for the signature porridge. My parents frequently travel accross the island just to eat here. Ingredients are generous and great quality, squid thick and tender, liver so velvety and just ooh la la. It can be confusing to secure a table, approach the lady manning the delivery station. Price? Cheap! For the quality you pay!

Ngl but this cafe deserves a full 5 star!!! Didn't expect their breakfast sammie to be so filling and flavourful at every bite! Their honey butter tater tots accompanied with sour cream a must try. It is so addictive and you can't help but pig on one more at each time!

JX Lim

The breakfast sammie is very good I ate here in 2 consecutive days. The lady boss is also pretty and courteous. Macarons are very well made not those gimmicky ones sold everywhere else.

Carris

Ordered Christmas Ribeye Steak Menu, along with their SOF Summer Hot Tea and Passion Tea, and Truffle fries. It was supreme delicious and worth to wait and price, as the steak was tender and cooked to perfect medium with herbs and spice, along with the potato and asparagus with beacon!

E Ang

Visited this cafe for the first time and was find the place neat and cosy. Order the Pan Seared Salmon and pork chop with fries.salmon was quite nicely done in sauce and is a little over cooked. The pork chop is quite over cooked as it get a bit tough. Otherwise the food are reasonably tasty and a foood meal. This is a place worth going back!

Kwan Kai Wong

Food quality and quantity was pretty good for the price point. Atmosphere was great and crew was quite friendly. Excellent place to have a meal and just chill without spending too much. Also they have promotions that are very value for money (20 drinks for $10) with some very basic requirements.

The name tells it all! Ordere Nasi lemak ayam taliwang, through enough the homemade chilli is superb, spicy with taste and unique. The sambal is also obvious that its homemade, traditional taste. Chicken is soft and tender, goes perfectly well with the taliwang sauce. Rice is fragrant, definitely have the pinch of nasi lemak taste. Well package too for takeaway and generous on the sambal.

WH Hong

Really nice Nasi lemak. Fragrance rice, burned grill chicken, superb chilli. One of the best in Singapore. I find the pricing affordable too.. Thank you for the good food👍🏽👍🏽

Gargleblaster

I really like this. Ordered the ayam taliwang for 6.90. Portions are generous enough for the price. Chicken is well marinated and the flavors penetrate well. The rice is super fragrant and I spotted a lime leaf in the rice! Interesting. Chilli is punchy and spicy.a good meal.

Larry Teo

If you want the tastiest Nasi lemak, this is the place to be. The char grilled chicken along with various chilli options are unbeatable. Best in Singapore! Highly recommended!

Visited on Sunday morning around 9:30am without reservation, the cafe is not packed but by the time I leave around 10.15am, the place is almost full. Ordered Crab Cake Benedict and hot white coffee. Crab Cake Benedict is nice, but I do feel a bit 'jelak' halfway through the second piece. Coffee is great but a bit too sour for my liking, but that's just my personal preference. Staffs are quite friendly and helpful, environment is quite nice but do expect some noise when the place is packed.

Amos Lee

Have been hearing about this cafe and it’s was my first time there. The chicken wings were great and love the Uji Matcha Green Tea Latte as well. The Pulled Pork & Avocado Eggs Benedict was too salty. Waiting time a little longer even though we have reservations. Didn’t have the chance to try the dessert as we were too full.

HP Tan

Burp! Ok was so hungry and the food was so good nothing was left on our plates before we realized that we needed a shot first. 🤦‍♀️ We had the Lola's Breakfast and Pulled Pork & Avocado Eggs Benedict. The portion was huge and the food quality was of a good standard. The only drawback is the place is small so it's crowded and if you don't have a reservation, you will have to wait for quite a while. We were early for brunch so was lucky to get an outdoor seat. Their cakes selection look so yummy calling but we were so stuffed that will have to wait.

Made a reservation but was late but staff were super friendly and understanding. Ordered Egg Benedict and Salted Egg Chicken Burger, upgraded to the set with Cappuccino and Mushroom Soup. Food came super fast, like within 5-10 minutes of ordering! The cappuccino and mushroom soup were great, loved the latte art Also the eggs Benedict was on point, compared to other eggs Benedict dishes I’ve had at other cafes. Servings were generous and left feeling very satisfied.

Pei Fen Soh

I have come to Flavour Flings a few times and this time I come for the Xmas menu with my friend. The Dry Laksa with Prawn is very rich in the taste and the spiciness is very shiok. Also the Signature Beef Steak is very nice and tender. Would definitely come back again.

Ryan Lee

Reasonable prices, good service and atmosphere, waiting times can be a bit long. Coffee was fragrant and not acidic. Unfortunately I found the raclette to be too pungent, even more so than blue cheese. Otherwise this is a nice small Cafe to hang out at.

Kavin Wan

Food are great and never regret. Service are slow due to high level customers . Please do reservations. Highly recommend for couples n big groups

Milk tea is nicely pulled and not too sweet to just the right taste. Staffs are friendly and attentive to customers. The place is clean and not too Oily feel when you have the meal there.

Love the fish soup here. Was wondering why and realised its coz it's promfet fish where the meat is very fine and the soup is just nice, not too salty. The chicken rice, zhi char and rojak are also some of the more popular stalls. Popiah is also very good

Crystal Ang

Family have been eating the Nonya Mee Siam for many years. We love the grilled fish, fried chicken stall (which we have patronised over more than a decade) and also the Ngoh Hiang Heh Piah stall…In the day, the economic rice stall has a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The Zi char is also quite popular.

Wei How Owi

You can find amazing food in this coffee shop! I'll recommend the grilled seafood stall, Tze Char stall and also Bedok 85.. if you feel guilty for eating too much food, just go to Punggol park and have a walk. It'll help you to lose some calories😂

Loved the rosti with egg and sausage. Very tasty and affordable ! It ranges from $5.90 - $8.90. My plate was $8.90 and it was worth every cent. The coffeeshop can be quite hot.

Alicia Tan

Love the generous portions for the price! Rosti was perfectly crispy, my favourite dish. We shared the Breakfast Plate+ ($11.90), Rosti with Sausage & Egg & Bacon ($11.90) and Potato Salad ($2.50 add on) amongst 4 people and was full enough. The store is in a coffee shop with other interesting stores like bingsu dessert, chilli pan mee.

Letitia Liew

Good portion size to share in my pov. The scrambled egg is cooked to perfection— silky creamy and eggy:””) The sausage is delicious and flavourful (i think theres cheese in it too) — the rosti is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside (really good texture) served with sunny side-up, a sausage and sour cream. Love the combi of rosti+ sourcream!! Def will be back and rosti is a must for me

Samantha Wang

Cafe food without the cafe environment. Coffee shop can get a little warm, but the food is good value. Eggs benny perfectly cooked with runny poached egg and generous helping of hollandaise sauce. Love the sausage and scrambled eggs too. Will be back again to try their lunch items.
